The S40 line has been engineered to deliver maximum versatility for producers of both flat and 3D lollipops with a diverse product range. From classic round and flat lollipops to eye-catching multicolor “traffic light” shapes, this production line has become the preferred choice among our customers. Its latest-generation lollipop chain dies allow production changeovers in just minutes, ensuring flexibility and efficiency.

The S40 is also the first line to integrate a wrapping machine directly after the forming stage, reducing overall plant investment while maintaining high speed, consistent quality, and low maintenance requirements.

Batching and Sizing

In the initial stage, the line employs our batch rollers and rope sizers, designed for seamless integration with any cooking system, whether batch or continuous. The batch roller’s role is to refine and condition the sugar mass, bringing it to the optimal processing temperature.

For multicolor production, a second batch roller or a dual configuration can be added. Where fillings are required, dedicated extruders or pumps are incorporated to guarantee precise and uniform dosing right from the start. Once prepared, the rope sizer adjusts the product to the exact diameter required before it enters the forming section.

At the heart of the process is the forming & wrapping machine, equipped with advanced chain die sets that ensure stable operation at a constant speed of 600 up to 1000 pcs/min depending on the product shape, size and wrapping material. Thanks to integrated sensors positioned before, inside, and after the forming stage, the system delivers accuracy and reliability throughout production. The forming speed is fully synchronized with the rest of the line via a PLC controlled system, ensuring smooth coordination across all stages. Immediately after forming, an automatic transfer unit delivers each lollipop directly to the integrated wrapping machine, completing the process with a secure four-seal sandwich wrap style.

Cooling

Finally, the cooling tunnels provide highly efficient temperature control, allowing products to move straight from forming into secondary packaging. Cooling is achieved through direct airflow generated by axial fans, ensuring uniform distribution from above. For maximum hygiene and easy maintenance, most tunnel components are removable, making inspection and cleaning straightforward while safeguarding product quality.
